Multi-terrain course
Starting on the drive in front of the hall follow along the drive, at the split keep to the right hand path toward the woodland.
Turn left onto the woodland trail, cross the disused narrow gauge train tracks. Continue on, crossing the tarmac drive and onto the second woodland path.
Follow the woodland trail, crossing another narrow gauge train track. Beware zombie's ahead. Follow the woodland path through the Zombie zone and continue along until you emerge from the woodland. Follow the path to the left as it becomes tarmac again passing the high ropes. Follow the path passing the finish line towards the drive. Turn Left down the drive back towards the hall. Pass the start line and follow the drive through the Zombie Zone and repeat this route for a second lap.
On the third (half) lap, pass the start and go through the Zombie Zone. At the stone plinths, turn left onto the trail path and follow round passing the picnic tables, before bearing right toward the woodland path and joining the back of the Zombie Zone, with a left turn. Follow the woodland path back up towards the tarmac path at the High ropes, pass the park and bear right for the finish line.
The course will be marked with signs and stratically placed marshalls.
Please stick to the route and do not stray off course, especially around the Zombie Zones.
Please note: -
The route is a multi-terrain course with a mixture of surfaces including tarmac, trail and woodland paths. You should expect uneven flooring, mud, water, fallen leaves, stones, tree routes and slippery sections. There are also two narrow gauge train crossings on the course.
Weather conditions in the lead up to the event will determine exactly how wet and muddy the surfaces are.
